Coping with Grief at the Holidays

November 13, 2021
10:30-11:30am (1 hour)

While it feels like everyone around you is getting ready for the joy and celebration of the holiday season, this time of year can trigger feelings of dread when you’re grieving a loss. It’s complicated, and you might be experiencing sadness, anger, guilt or shame, among other uncomfortable emotions. You aren’t alone, and you can make a plan to survive this emotionally charged time of year.   Join Megan Brady, LCPC, ATR-BC to explore how the holidays can impact the grieving process, and how you can develop personalized strategies to cope when things feel hard this season.

Objectives:
– Address strategies for coping with the challenges of grief during the holiday
– Make a plan to survive social events and communicate your needs
– Explore ways to honor memories and traditions during times of change
