C. Johnson

Christine Johnson, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Christine Johnson is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Her background includes psychiatric care across the lifespan,  but mainly  therapeutic psychopharmacology for adolescents and adults. Dr. Johnson’s career took her on a journey through inpatient and  outpatient settings, including medication management  for  intensive outpatient, depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and other chronic mental health disorders. She retired from the military where she was honored to care for wounded soldiers from OEF/OIF/OND as well as soldiers in the Illinois Guard and Reserve. She is passionate about the care she provides her patients and being an advocate for mental health awareness.

Joseph Malcom

Joseph Malcom, APRN, Starting Spring 2022

Mr. Joseph A. Malcolm is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He has worked with a very diverse population of patient across the lifespan, providing psychopharmacology for children, adolescents, and adults. Mr. Malcolm has worked in a variety of settings, to include, both inpatient and outpatient, providing care for patients with a multitude of diagnoses to include ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and other mental health disorders. He served for over 25 years in the Army and the Air Force in various roles including a flight nurse for the Air Force, OIC for a medical clinic, and Executive Officer for the Community Based Warrior Transition Unit, caring for soldiers returning home from deployment. He is a very dedicated and compassionate practitioner that wants to bring awareness to and eradicate the stigma of mental illness.
