Supporting Neurodivergence at the Holidays

Presented by: Julia Jordan-Lake, LCPC
1 hour. Virtual On-Demand.

The holidays can be stressful for us all, but for neurodiverse kids and their families, things can feel really hard at times. Changes in routine, overstimulation, and the expectations of others can all impact our ability to regulate ourselves and our kids. Join Julia Jordan-Lake, LCPC, for tangible and accessible information on how to approach the challenges of the holiday season.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the basics of child neuroscience
  2. Identify triggers and how to respond in the moment
  3. Tools for supporting your child
  4. How to communicate with family during the season

Urban Wellness is committed to providing equitable access to support for all community members. All Wellness Academy webinars are offered at a “Pay-what-you-can” (PWYC) rate. We appreciate your contribution to supporting community mental health and wellbeing at any level, whether you can pay $5 or $50. We believe mental health is vital, and wellbeing is for everyone.
