Feeling Stuck Between Avoidance and Procrastination

Presented by: Danielle Burks, LCPC  (1 hour)

How have avoidance and procrastination shown up in your life and kept you from achieving your goals?  We’ve all been there.  We have too much to do, feel overwhelmed by a task, and just keep putting it off.  We KNOW we need to take action, but we feel paralyzed and stuck.  Avoidance and procrastination start to take over and we fall into a cycle that can be hard to break.  Luckily, hard does not mean impossible.

Danielle Burks, LCPC helps you understand what’s happening and why, and guides you to a more productive and focused mindset in this one-hour webinar.  She introduces CBT, ACT and self-care strategies to combat negative thoughts and behaviors and implement successful new habits and actions.

  • Participants will identify how avoidance and procrastination impact their lives.
  • Participants will identify generalized causes of avoidance and procrastination.
  • Participants will learn four steps to managing avoidance and procrastination.
