Who Am I?

Welcome! My name is Page (he/him). I am a licensed clinical professional counselor who has been in the field for over ten years. I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors. We listen, and we (really) don’t judge. My job is to help you connect your therapy goals to your own strengths, and help you build a safety net of coping skills, awareness, and self-worth.

I love working with:

  • LGBTQIA+ Adolescents navigating the complexities of high school and future life paths
  • trans and non-binary folx who are seeking gender affirming care (inc medical letters of readiness), individuals walking through grief
  • couples
  • individuals who have experienced complex trauma, addiction (substance and process)
  • seniors

Some of my favorite approaches include:

Every client is different, and the way I run a session will conform to that’s client’s needs. Theoretical frameworks I use often are internal family systems (which many know as parts therapy), dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive processing, and acceptance and commitment therapy. When seeing couples, I tend to utilize emotion focused therapy practices (which focuses on attachment styles).

HOW I HELP

Therapy is weird, and there are few things scarier than opening to a stranger about your innermost feelings, fears, and life challenges. My job is to support your mental health needs first and foremost; including making sure that stranger you’ve just met is the right fit for you (even if it is not me), and helping you gain the tools to be your own therapist between our time together. My purpose as a therapist is fostering connection; connecting to your needs as a client, and helping you form and cultivate new connections and a safety net of your own. I will ask hard questions and challenge stuck points, while affirming and identifying strengths.

Beliefs section

You can never be where your mind is not at, at the time. Healing takes time. Therapy is like a junk drawer. You have to dump everything out before you put it back together, but the outcome leads to a clean(ish) drawer, and a regulated nervous system.

What it’s like in a session with me

First rule: I will not be a fit for every client. That is okay. Take your time to determine if my office is the right place for you to begin to heal. I want every client to feel safe and heard and knowing that it’s a fit is important. We will discuss this in the first month.

Some sessions will be verbal processing. Some sessions we will get down to business with a stuck point worksheet. Every session we will touch base on what is and isn’t working for you.

More about me

Outside of work I love to cook, read, hike, and spend time with my friends and my community.
