Hello! I am Fariha Newaz.

I am a therapist, also known as an inner wellbeing expert, thought- provoke, and your personal champion. I help adolescents and adults navigate this world to improve their emotional management, self-esteem, substance abuse, problem-solving skills, boundaries, multicultural concerns, and relationships.

If you want to live a life you’ve never lived, you have to do things you’ve never done.

First, let’s start with getting comfortable. I will have a blanket in session, I am always cold, even in the summer. You can have one too if that makes you more comfortable, no judgment. We will probably laugh during session and sometimes talk about random things. The relationship between us is going to be the strongest tool we have. I believe that you have the power and strength to grow and change from within. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your fears and worries. I trust that our relationship will help you stay accountable to your own goals. Your most authentic self is what I ask of you and I know it can take some time to get there, that’s okay. I am invested in you and as you commit to your own growth, you will learn tools to overcome obstacles. The goal isn’t that hard things won’t happen, but that when they do, you have the skills to work through them. You are not defined by what brings you into counseling and together we can help you be the best you.


If are looking for something to be different in your life, it means that you have to do things differently and it might be uncomfortable or awkward at first. Change is not easy and I want to help you better manage these changes so you can live your best life. Using Cognitive Behavioral therapy, we can identify negative thinking patterns to see the world differently and create positive change. My goal is to set you up to succeed so you can explore your relationships and emotions to feel better. Let’s take care of you on the inside so everyone knows how you amazing you are on the outside.


I am here for you. I know that life can get hard and challenging. I am here to help you rediscover your identity. I work to give you the tools to help you solve your problems and gain that inner confidence, maintain better and healthier relationships. I use a strength- based approach to remind you of how your greatness. Because I believe in you and will be there every step of the way and you are more resilient than you think you are.


When I am not in the office, one could easily say that I am a yes person.
