Live webinars and pre-recorded courses are housed in the Clinician Academy for easy, on-demand access to professional development and best practices for supporting clients.
Urban Wellness, Ltd. has been approved by NBCC as an
Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7025.
Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly
identified. Urban Wellness, Ltd. is solely responsible
for all aspects of the programs.
Community Academy provides educational webinars on a variety of mental health and wellness topics which impact our communities.
Commmunity Academy courses are rooted in evidence-based practices that provide participants with support outside the therapy session (courses are not a substitute for therapy).
Courses are open to all.
Urban Wellness is committed to providing equitable access to support
for all community members. All Community Academy webinars are offered at a “Pay-what-you-can” (PWYC) rate. We appreciate your contribution to supporting community mental health and wellbeing at any level, whether you can pay $5 or $50. We believe mental health is vital, and wellbeing is for everyone.
Urban Wellness Academy is an e-learning platform that brings together live webinars and pre-recorded courses on topics related to mental health and wellbeing. Expert educational trainings by the clinicians of Urban Wellness cover topics like self-care, managing anxiety, parent trainings to support children, couples support, and other issues relevant to wellbeing in today’s world. There are two parts of the Academy: Clinician Academy (for mental health practitioners) and Wellness Academy (created for community members, open to all).
Urban Wellness Academy aims to bridge the gap from uncertainty to knowledge for our communities and colleagues efficiently and without physical or financial barriers.
Courses in Clinician Academy are eligible for Continuing Education hours through NBCC. Any clinician course that does not offer CE hours will be clearly marked.
Courses are 1-2 hours long, and consist of live online or recorded content presented by licensed mental health clinicians. Most courses are presented in a lecture style with varying levels of interaction, depending on the content and style of the presenter. Yoga and Reiki courses are more experiential, rather than educational in nature. Clinician courses also include a course assessment and evaluation.

If not, you'll create one at the time of purchase. You can watch your course right away, or come back any time for access. All of your courses will remain available to you on an unlimited basis.
