Who Am I?

Greetings! My name is Kristine Greiber (she/hers) and I am a relational therapist. I use a trauma informed lens to holistically observe and understand your needs. Together we will craft a journey plan to establish your goals and define what reaching them will entail. Compatible with this mission I bring my background in yoga, art in therapy, teaching, somatics and breathwork. I respect clients, approach them with cultural competence, and value them as center to their own best outcomes.

I am a cishet, single, woman, Gen X survivor.

I love working with:

  • Women of all ages
  • Couples/dyads
  • Individuals and families facing health issues
  • Perinatal concerns
  • Anyone coping with life stage transition
  • Early childhood

Some of my favorite approaches include:

I am certified in Relational Life Therapy which is applicable for individuals, couples/dyads and families. An RLT approach brings the therapists and clients close together to understand the dynamics and skills from clients’ early life. By exploring and holding space together, clients reveal how their current skills may be improved to enrich their most meaningful relationships, and expand upon budding relationships.

I also employ Parts work, Narrative therapy, Arts in therapy and deep relaxation techniques.

HOW I HELP

The regulation of our thoughts and nervous system are crucial for change and learning. I can help by supporting your self-awareness, felt safety and by offering my positive regard and curiosity. I like to explore outside resources which can compliment the therapy journey and coax transfor

Beliefs section

Healing is an inside job. We each hold a “pharmacy within” which is key to our progress. But it is not done alone! Our unique experiences have taught us individual lessons which we can unfold and express in safe space.

What it’s like in a session with me

I find clients and I like to begin (or end!) with a short breathing exercise. Afterward, we will check in, and review where we came from since the last session. We will follow the journey plan continuing with the chosen topics we are examining. In couples/dyad work, we will check in on the therapeutic impact since the prior session, discuss how/if new techniques landed successfully. We will move at a pace to allow for real change to transpire.

Working with individuals, and families with health care issues, we will discuss the institutional, financial, emotional, and physical practicalities of the unique situation. During therapy work, a client often must choose between concurring demands. In session, I can support the large and small picture and help clients assess their values and their decision making.
