Navigating the school system for a child with developmental, academic, social or mental health challenges is hard! Join us as we explore strategies to advocate for your child/teen with all the moving pieces of school, 504, IEPs and more!

Learning Objectives:

  1. You will learn terms and information on school 504/IEP language for better understanding of advocacy
  2. You will walk away with tangible tools in how to best move forward with your teen/child’s school
  3. You will understand how to access various domains of support in your advocacy process

Urban Wellness is committed to providing equitable access to support for all community members. All Wellness Academy webinars are offered at a “Pay-what-you-can” (PWYC) rate. We appreciate your contribution to supporting community mental health and wellbeing at any level, whether you can pay $5 or $50. We believe mental health is vital, and wellbeing is for everyone.
