Join Megan and Maria as they guide us through a virtual workshop of gentle yoga and art making that promotes connection, growth, and expression.
The transition from Winter into Spring offers us an opportunity for change and growth. The gentle movements of Hatha Yoga allow us to reconnect with ourselves by bringing into our awareness the connection between our physical bodies, emotions, thoughts, and needs. This can help us determine what truly requires and deserves our attention, time, and energy.
The creation of art allows us to expand upon and express the insights and observations that arise through movement. Artwork functions as a safe container for our needs, wants, and intentions as we enter into a new season of our lives.
- Create a safe, comfortable space to physically, emotionally, and mentally reconnect with one’s own self
- Identify and reflect upon presenting needs, wants, and intentions
- Create artwork that expands upon and expresses our insights and observations, fostering self-expression and growth
Blanket, pillow, or yoga block for support during seated yoga poses (optional)
Art materials of personal and available choosing (suggested items include markers, colored pencils, oil pastels, and paper)
