Who Am I?

Hi, I’m Erin! I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who loves working with emerging adults and adults on the big questions of who you are and how you got here. No matter your age, there’s always more to learn about yourself. I’m a cisgender woman and my pronouns are she/her.

I specialize in working with:
  • Stress, anxiety, low or depressed feelings, and grief brought on by experiences like relationship struggles, career challenges, family relationships, childhood difficulties or trauma, and the loss of loved ones (pets too). Basically any of the troubles that come with growing up.
How I help

Life knocks down the best of us, and by “the best of us” I mean all of us. Part of our work together is understanding the who, what, when, where, and why of what knocked you down in the first place. We’ll look for patterns and learn to spot obstacles ahead. Falling down is inevitable, falling safely is a skill, and learning you don’t have to stay down is the goal. I use a client-centered approach, with the counseling relationship as our starting point. I often help people with anxiety and grief and loss.

What a session with me is like

There will be deep listening, tough questions, breakthroughs, and room for any and all emotions. And there will definitely be laughter.

What I believe

All the good stuff in therapy happens because of the relationship we build, and sometimes just saying a thing out loud can make all the difference.

A little more about me

When I’m not working, I’m thinking about growing stuff, talking about growing stuff, taking pictures of the stuff I’ve grown, and pretending I’m a farmer in my little community garden. Don’t be surprised if I try to convince you to grow your own tomatoes.
