Who Am I?

Hi! My name is Maddie (she/hers), a Licensed Social Worker who works with teens and adults. In therapy, we’ll slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and build insight into the patterns that leave you feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. I’ll meet you where you are, help you reconnect with your strengths, support you in developing tools, and celebrate as you reach your goals. I’m a cisgender Caucasian woman.

I specialize in working with:
  • Teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity development, confidence, and major life transitions
  • Adults balancing relationships, responsibilities, stress, and everyday demands
  • Folks experiencing grief, relationship challenges, uncertainty, or overwhelming emotions
  • Those struggling with motivation, daily functioning, or symptoms that feel hard to manage
  • People seeking healthier coping strategies, more self-understanding, and a more authentic, fulfilling life
How I help

My goal is to help you feel empowered to show up as your most authentic self, even when life feels heavy. The demands of daily life can make that hard, and it’s understandable to need a space where you can set some of that weight down. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel accepted, less burdened, and able to be honest about what you’re experiencing. My approach is collaborative and flexible, drawing from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic theory. This is all woven together based on what feels most supportive and aligned with your goals rather than one-size-fits-all. I often help people with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and grief and loss.

What a session with me is like

Therapy with me is meant to feel genuine, comfortable, and welcoming, so you can settle in as your authentic self from the start. Whether you’re curled up with a coffee, wrapped in a blanket, or whatever else helps you feel comfortable, I want our space to feel approachable and free of judgment while grounded in trust. Early sessions focus on learning who you are, what you’ve been through, and what brought you here, and together we’ll set goals that feel meaningful and build a flexible roadmap. Therapy isn’t a strict script, so I’ll check in to make sure our work feels helpful and aligned with what you need, and while some conversations are hard, healing can also include humor, curiosity, and connection.

What I believe

The driving force behind change is you. We often have more strength than we give ourselves credit for, and I’m here to help you recognize and build on it. Doing your best can look different from day to day, and even small steps forward count as progress.

A little more about me

Outside of work, I love relaxing and spending time with the people who matter to me, whether that’s grabbing a meal, hanging out, or catching up. I’m always listening to music and especially love live shows. I also love good food, time in nature, and making art to unwind, and I put my curiosity to good use by learning new things, trying new experiences, and visiting new places.
