Hello, I’m Jill Patano and I’m a therapist at Urban Wellness. I like to think of myself as a behavior and thought coach as well. My focus is helping adults gain more control over anxiety, OCD, panic and general fears that keep you from enjoying life.
THOUGHT + BEHAVIOR COACH FOR ANXIETY
Anxiety is common, but also can be misunderstood. I can help you learn to view your anxiety in a different way, helping you to see that YOU have the power to manage your thoughts and change those pesky behaviors that get you stuck.
HOW I HELP
My approach is to get you to engage with your anxiety, to “talk back” to it, to actively engage in opposite behaviors. We do this together, either by doing exposure exercises in the office or out of the office and actively engaging in feedback. Anxiety work in my office doesn’t always have to be serious, when we can laugh together, that can make all the difference in treatment.

I love all things cozy. I enjoy fall and winter, when I can bundle up and drink hot chocolate. I read all the time and enjoy my fair share of TV! I’m a supporter of animal welfare and LGBTQ rights and love a good political discussion.
