Who Am I?

Hi, I’m Kaedyn (she/hers). Searching for a therapist is a big step, and I’m glad you’re here. In session, we’ll explore ways to manage emotions, challenge thinking patterns, and process both big traumas and daily stressors. We’ll move at your pace, celebrate your wins, and work through the tough stuff together. I’m a cisgender white woman and I work primarily with adults.

I specialize in working with:
  • Healthcare workers experiencing burnout or secondhand trauma
  • Young adults navigating life’s transitions
  • People dealing with chronic illness or pain
  • Neurodivergent-identifying adults
  • People from a foster or adoptive background
  • Anyone dealing with anxiety and stress
How I help

I want to be there for it all, the good and the bad. My path to therapy began in nursing, which gives me a holistic perspective on how physical and mental health connect, and lets me support your whole well-being with an integrative lens. I have a special place in my heart for fellow healthcare workers who know the weight of the field. I work from a multicultural, anti-racist, anti-oppressive stance, and I aim to create an affirming, nonjudgmental space where you feel truly seen. I often help people with anxiety and trauma.

What a session with me is like

Come as you are, in comfy clothes, with a snack or coffee, whatever helps you feel grounded. We’ll spend the first few sessions building a foundation and setting the goals that matter most to you, then move at the pace that works for your life. You’re the expert on your own experience, and you decide the direction of our work. I value the relational aspect of therapy, which means you can count on me to be fully present in session and always bring authenticity, grace, and a touch of humor.

What I believe

Our identities, culture, and backgrounds are integral to therapy. The therapeutic relationship is one of our most powerful tools for healing, and healing isn’t linear, it’s a lifelong journey I’m honored to walk with you.

A little more about me

Outside of work I enjoy reading, movies, painting, and crafting. I’m originally from Michigan but have been in Chicago for five years. On weekends you’ll find me trying new restaurants with friends, playing board games with my husband, or cuddling my cat, Dorito. (If you have a pet, yes, I want to see a picture.)
