Who Am I?

I am a trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming therapist in Edison Park and a recent graduate from Loyola University Chicago where I received my Master’s in Social Work (MSW). I am also a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). I mainly work with adolescents and adults who struggle with trauma, self esteem issues, socialization issues, neurodivergence, depression, and/or anxiety. I love working with my clients to help them figure out what would be the most helpful for them, and suggesting modalities we can explore based on their wants and needs.

I specialize in working with:
  • Neurodivergent (ADHD/ASD) individuals
  • People who have experienced trauma
  • Individuals who struggle socially
  • Individuals who struggle with their self-esteem and/or body image – People who struggle with Generalized/Social Anxiety, Depression, and/or OCD
How I help

My passion for mental health work is rooted in my inherent inclination towards valuing empathy and self-compassion throughout the therapeutic process. I find so much fulfillment in providing trauma-informed and culturally-responsive guidance to others by creating safe, validating spaces where individuals can show up authentically and heal at their own pace. I strongly believe that strengthening one’s self-trust and self-compassion are integral parts of healing and growth. I use an integrative approach with my clients by using different modalities depending on what the client feels would be the most helpful. I often incorporate aspects of Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy into my sessions, as well as DBT, CBT, ACT, and art therapy.

What a session with me is like

A session with me will feel warm, inviting, non-judgemental, and authentic. We will build comfort and trust through friendly conversation, and we will wade into more vulnerable waters as you feel ready to do so. In our sessions, authenticity, humor, and honesty are more than welcome.

What I believe

I believe that growth and healing are not linear, and that vulnerability takes a lot of bravery. I’m proud of you for taking this step to show up for yourself by reaching out for support.

A little more about me

In my free time, I love to find vintage treasures at the thrift store, write songs, and go on little adventures with my friends. I love whimsy, introspective conversations, and stopping to pet every dog I see.
