HOW I HELP

As a therapist, I aim to create a non-judgemental space where you feel brave, safe, and supported to discuss your challenges and your feelings (both BIG and VERY BIG) around those challenges. Together, we will explore where you are in your therapeutic journey and discover which approaches resonate best with you. In addition to talk therapy, approaches may include breathwork, writing, physical movement, and meditation. In collaboration, we will identify your strengths and goals, we will discuss accountability and boundaries, and we will create a path forward, step by step.

I believe…

  • I believe that what we resist, persists and that the only way out is through.
  • I believe that every individual has the capacity and strength to heal.
  • I believe that every individual is worthy and deserving.
  • I believe that the therapeutic relationship can be a catalyst for change.

What it’s like in a session with me

I invite you to come in and get comfortable. We’ll begin by getting to know one another, as we begin to build a relationship and discuss what brought you in. My intention is to create a space that is safe and warm, where you can exhale, and just be you. We will create a space that is uniquely yours. I am always open to discovering and learning new ways to support you. I believe that you are the expert in your own experience and I strive to meet you where you are. My hope is that along the way, we’ll balance big emotions with humor and compassion, as we work together toward positive change.

More about me

In my free time, you will find me running after my 1-year old son at various museums and festivals around the city. I love to travel, read, listen to podcasts, and explore new restaurants. I enjoy yoga, reality t.v., romcoms, creepy mysteries, walks in nature, and a large, cozy cup of coffee while spending time with loved ones. Hope to meet you soon!
