Hi! My name is Mandy Ross.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I provide support to adolescents and adults as they strive for emotional balance, well-being, and overall growth. My goal is to assist as you identify and utilize your strengths to overcome troubling times and make positive choices so that you can live your best life.

No matter what life throws at you, or how unfair you think it is, never give up. Pick yourself up and go on.​

HOW I HELP

I am passionate about overall wellness and believe in the connection between emotional, mental, and physical health. I utilize mindfulness, movement, and self-care strategies to help clients find a sense of grounding and live in the present moment. I also challenge clients to self-analyze and combat negative thinking patterns and be able see any scenario through a variety of perspectives.

I believe in the intimate connection of the mind, body, and spirit:

Your mind is responsible for how you perceive the world around you, make sense of it, interpret and analyze it. Your thoughts tell your body how to respond both physically and emotionally. When you misinterpret a situation, your emotions follow suit and your body responds accordingly.

Your body is affected by how much you move, what you eat, how well you sleep, your general hygiene, and even your thoughts and emotions. Your body can respond to stress in the same way it responds to physical illness or pain. Likewise, a healthy physical body is more impervious to mental and emotional stressors than one that is neglected.

Your spirit is what makes you who you are. Your values, goals, what gives you purpose, and all that gives meaning to human life. When you accept that you are inherently worthy, the lens through which you see and experience the world is changed. You give yourself permission to heal both emotionally and physically.

MORE ABOUT ME

I love animals, my bike, and being “the cool auntie.” I have a background in fitness and I teach yoga, pilates, and spin. I rarely eat out because I love cooking and food prep. I’m also a nerd for nutrition and my goal is to learn to garden and be able to grow everything I need for the world’s best salad in my backyard.
