GET TO KNOW your therapist

Mandy Dick, LCSW

Hello! My name is Mandy and I am a clinical social worker.

I work with adults of all ages facing a variety of challenges including anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, stress management, relationship issues, and adjustment following a traumatic event.

My goal is to help you know yourself better; alleviate emotional pain or confusion; develop healthier, more effective coping skills; address the root causes of your difficulties; gain a more accurate understanding of your past and what you want for your future; and become proud of who you are and confident in the decisions you make. I am not here to judge you, I am here to empower you and work alongside you as your advocate, sounding board, loyal support, and healing guide. Even when you don’t believe in yourself, I will believe in you because you matter and you are more resilient than you think. I genuinely care, and I’m here to provide you with the support and practical guidance you need to effectively process and overcome pain. I do not use a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to therapy. What works for one person might not work best for you, and that’s okay. You are unique and your therapeutic journey will be catered to fit your needs and strengths. We’ll figure it out together!

I believe that therapy works best when both you and your therapist are invested in your healing.

I believe that change is possible when you allow yourself to ask for help.

I believe that everyone is capable of making positive changes.

During my free time you can find me spending time with family and friends, on a walk with my puppy, binge watching shows, solving puzzles (jigsaw and word!), crafting, enjoying nature, traveling, practicing yoga and mindfulness, reading, and working on my green thumb (it’s definitely a work in progress!). These are a few of my favorite things: animals, dessert, subtle humor, podcasts, and true crime!
