“Vulnerability is not knowing victory or defeat. It’s understanding the necessity of both; It’s engaging. It’s being all in.” – Brene Brown

Stefanie Brennan, LCPC

Hi! My name is Stefanie Brennan. I am a clinical therapist, yes, but I also consider myself to be an advocate and fellow traveler in the therapeutic journey. I embrace the power of self-compassionself- care, and support. I am very passionate about my work and am grateful every day for the privilege to learn more about my clients’ lives. I enjoy working with clients of all ages, though I especially love working with teens and young adults. My areas of interest include depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, stress management, work/life balance, and difficulty within family, peer, romantic, and professional relationships. Additionally, as a mom, I am very passionate about supporting clients who struggle with issues related to pregnancy, as well as postpartum and parenting demands.

None of us are immune to the pressures of daily life. We want to do it all and do it well. We allow ourselves little room for error and often strive for unrealistic expectations. Let’s embrace our imperfections. According to Buddha, “You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection.” I firmly believe in the power of self-compassion and self-forgiveness. We can learn a lot from our mistakes and challenges. They do not have to define us.

Sometimes, self-care means making choices that are difficult in the moment but ultimately lead to a better, healthier life. I support the development of healthy habits and establishment of boundaries to avoid burnout and fatigue.

I am here for you. Good days and bad days. I am all in. I hope you are too!

In this therapeutic partnership, I promise to foster a safe, welcoming environment free of judgment. In this space, vulnerability is welcomed and embraced. Together, we will work toward you living your happiest, healthiest, strongest life. We will celebrate your strengths and utilize these strengths toward making positive change. I have extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy and enjoy working with clients on how their thoughts, behaviors, and actions are connected. I am warm, friendly, and love to laugh. My personality and sense of humor are a huge part of how I approach my sessions. No pressure, just acceptance.

Coffee! Naps! Movies! Music! Podcasts! These are a few of my favorite things. I am a huge advocate for self-care and work/life balance. I love spending time with my husband and two children, watching my favorite 80’s rom-coms, trying out a new workout class, and dining out with friends.
