As therapists we often have clients who, during the course of therapy, share their experience with substance use, eating disorders or body image challenges, but we don’t always feel equipped to support them.  These concerns can arise as coping strategies or co-morbidities when clients are struggling with other mental health challenges, or can be the primary reason for a client to seek care.  They can impact clients in many parts of their lives, including social, emotional, school/workplace, relationships and physical health. It is essential that we cultivate an understanding of how best to support our clients as they navigate these challenges, and build our awareness of how to continue treating clients when we can and when to refer out for specialist support.

Join us for an all-day intensive training that will give you the tools to feel confident engaging with clients who reports substance use, eating disorders or body image challenges.
